Can I use external wireless card for the HP Pavilion dv8?
I have been HP pavilion dv8 from two months. I have installed the wireless card in that. My issue is that wireless card is overheating. So I just wanted to ask you people should I use external wireless card so that my problem solve or I buy a new wireless card. This is getting very annoying. I have already waste so much time on this. So can anyone tell me what should I do?

I can understand your problem dude; you have already paid so much money for the laptop. If anything is not working properly then sometimes people get angry. I have gone through problem. There for I would suggest you please buy a new external wireless card after that I am sure everything would be fine. This is solution of your problem.

I had the same problem dude; actually my laptop was losing power on and off. So I would suggest you that please clean the silver cable where it grounds the sensor bar and with the help of piece of scotch tape to hold it down to the ground. I hope this will help you.

I have solution for your problem. Actually this worked for me and I hope this will help you. Actually I removed the wireless assistance software from the computer. It was totally unnecessary program in that. After that I uninstalled the Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN (Device Manager, Network Adapters). Then after that let the driver install itself.
