Windows Update Error 80071a91, Get help doesn’t work

I have a system at home and the problem is that when I went to install windows vista at that time it shows that windows update error 80071a91 has 4375 errors. The thing is that the process of setting package KB929123_3 failed to complete because of window . I tried deleting download derectory and my machines is not updated there is a tab for get help which doesn’t provide an answer. Some one please provide me with the proper solution. Can someone help me?

See It happened with me and I found the problem was TxR folder. My friend suggestedto look out TxR folder in C drive. It happens because these TxRfolder is missing. If the TxR folder will be missing then you have to create these the matter will be solved.

While in my case I have done a search in web and tried various but at last I have done these I have first open my window then opened the command prompt for execution of commands after that followed these steps:
1)fsutil resource set auto reset true.
2)the type these command c:\cd%winder %\system32\config\txr..
3)type these atrrib- r-s-h.
4)the last step is to delete.
5) Then I typed a command i.e. c:\windows\System32\SMI\Store\machine.
6) After that type Attrib –a –h –s *.TM* and at last type Del *.TM* for deleting that TM files that was the main problem . As soon as you complete these step your issue will be solved as in my case it was.

First I could not found the solution for the answer but after that my friend recommend me to delete all the files from the folder C:\Windows\System32\config\TxR. He told me that these problem are caused by these TxR files. After I have deleted these files he told to run these resource set auto reset true C:\.If you don’t know to run then click on start then command prompt will be occurring . in that there will be an option run click on run there will be option there beside that option write these fsutil resource set auto reset true.
After that reboot the system. Then pick the days that your computer was recently working. After reboot install then update again then the issue will be solved.
