Windows 7 Quick Launch icons are invisible
Currently I am running Windows 7 started edition. I have just restored the QuickLaunch bar but none of the icons appears on the bar. It seems to me that there are no items available for the QuickLaunch bar. I restored the Bar once again but nothing came up on the monitor. Why?
Re: Windows 7 Quick Launch icons are invisible
This article explains how to restore it. First we must show hidden files and folders.
Open notepad and paste the following code:
Code:
[Shell]
Command = 2
IconFile = explorer.exe, 3
[Taskbar]
Command = ToggleDesktop
Save the file and name it "Desktop.scf"
Place this file in the directory C: \ Users \ "Your Username" \ AppData \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Quick Launch

Windows 7 has known with a new kind of taskbar, called Superbar. it Operate differently than the old because you can pin up each program. I like it but did not work as Windows taskbar. it is good it hear that I will at least have the option to convert back to "old". Through a workaround that works quite well.

Re: Windows 7 Quick Launch icons are invisible
The Quick Launch bar in Windows 7 has not been omitted. But Microsoft probably thought the Quick Launch bar is no longer necessary because the programs on the taskbar can be permanently attached (pinned). The Quick Launch toolbar in Windows 7 'was replaced by functionality' called Superbar. The Quick Launch bar is not 'been completely removed, but disabled and hidden.
Re: Windows 7 Quick Launch icons are invisible
With Windows 7, the useful Quick Launch bar but disappeared again. Instead, there is only a single large container (Quick Start) links - the Superbar. The disadvantage is that the symbols of the links are much larger and more quickly the entire tray becomes full. It can even show small icons in the taskbar, but then suffers ease of. But by the use of Backdoor, the Quick Launch bar in Windows 7 is still available and can be reactivated with a few mouse clicks.
