I own Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8834 laptop and I am not able to understand why my laptop is getting restart again and again. Can someone please let me know what would be the reason behind this? I have also tried to do system recovery but it is also not working. As I am not getting a system restore point.
Can you let me know is this problem happening after installing software and if it is so than do uninstall that software and it will solve your problem. Also do try to do these steps as you will come to know what is the problem as you will get the error message and you will come to know what is the problem.
Disable automatic restart
And 'Just follow the following steps:
- Open "Control Panel"
- Double Click on "System"
- Select the tab "Advanced"
- Press the third button "Settings" at the bottom
- Disable the "Automatically restart"
A laptop has a specific voltage requirement when in use, so if the voltage is not enough, the laptop will restart or shutdown automatically. If you happen to live in areas where power supply is unstable, it is better to conquer AC some additional tools to ensure smooth working of the laptop.
Uses the Laptop for several hours a day, especially in summer and never let it rest, you will notice the problem of restarting. In these cases due to high temperatures at which the hardware is submitted, primarily the CPU, RAM and 'hard drives. Since each device is able to work well within a given range of temperatures, when the latter exceeds the threshold, the laptop can be turned off and then restart. This is also true for low temperatures.
I was also having same problem as I have a MSI laptop and it was restating again and again when I took my laptop to a laptop repairer he told me it is a problem of RAM and the ram has been damaged because of which it was restarting.
