I have been using Zonealarm free 10.1.065.000 and I am not having any such issues with the same but then I just wanted to know if it can be handled remotely without having a need to set something at the remote computer and so?? Actually I have found the "Protect ZoneAlarm client" but then there is no "Protect ZoneAlarm client" it, is there anyone who has an idea about the same and can help me out as well??
I really don’t think that the there is a way to re-implement the check / uncheck Protect ZoneAlarm client as I have already tried connecting to my media center which was having Zonealarm free 10.1.065.000 installed as well but then I was not able to modify any ZA settings, I will like to know if anyone has tried out the same and have got any success.Quote:

I will like to inform you all that it was possible in Zonealarm Free v 9.2.106 where there was a setting to so so Overview/Preferences/General but then it is not possible to do the same in Zonealarm free 10.1.065.000 as the remotely controlling feature is not yet supported by the same, there are possibilities that it might be available in their next update but then I am not pretty much sure about it. I think that we are just left with the option of waiting for now. If you all want then you can try out some other firewall that allows to be remotely controlled.
I am not very sure but then I have found one mentioning that the ZoneAlarm PRO Firewall 2012 is having the feature that you all are looking for, so just check out the same and find it out if it is true. Best of luck.
