Re: In windows 7 X64 OpenOffice 3.3 is freezing
You have to first try to solve this problem resetting the user profile in your laptop. I don’t know whether this solution will help you or not but you can try this solution and if you face same problem after trying this solution also then let me know.
Re: In windows 7 X64 OpenOffice 3.3 is freezing
I am also using windows7 operating system in my computer and I have Openoffice 3.3 installed in my computer and I don’t face any problem with my computer. When you have installed Open office in your laptop at that time did you get any error message? You have to also try to solve this problem by running the repair installation.
You have to unpack the folder to temp folder and then you have to select Java Runtime Environment under the "Optional Components" which will repair corrupt file in java installation. I hope this will be helpful for you.
If you need any more help then let me know.
Re: In windows 7 X64 OpenOffice 3.3 is freezing
After resetting the User profile in my laptop also I am still having same problem with the Openoffice and I have also tried to solve this problem by repairing the installation which does not make any difference. Now please tell me what should I do to solve this problem. Is there any other way to get around this issue?
Re: In windows 7 X64 OpenOffice 3.3 is freezing
Well you should follow these steps to solve this problem. First you have to open control panel and then go to uninstall programs option and then uninstall Openoffice from there. Now after that you have to open my computer and then open C drive and then go to the user data folder of the Open office and then you have to move that in other folder. Now after that you have to install Open office again in your laptop and after installing that you have to open it and then see whether it makes any difference or not. I hope it will be helpful for you.
