XNA is not supported in Windows 8
I read on internet that XNA is not supported in windows phone 8.The next version of the windows phone will support XNA. I think that from the next version of windows phone the prime method of developing games is not XNA. The future games of windows phone is through native code rather than XNA?
Re: XNA is not supported in Windows 8
Yes, XNA is not supported in Windows 8. In Windows 8 for developing metro style applications XNA is not supported. In the new operating system the apps of XNA will be treated as apps of classic desktop.
Re: XNA is not supported in Windows 8
I think that XNA is the most recommended way for developing games for the windows phones and Xbox Live Arcade. But In windows 8 XNA is not supported. Native code is used for developing applications.
Re: XNA is not supported in Windows 8
It is correct,
In windows 8 for mounting the new style metro applications XNA is not supported by the windows 8. But DirectX is supported by the windows 8 for developing applications. The technology used in DirectX is better than the XNA. So I think DirectX is better than the XNA.

DirectX is more advanced technology compared to the XNA. But still In windows 8 we can run XNA applications without any issues. But the applications developed by using XNA are treated as classic apps. DirectX is faster as well as efficient compare to the XNA.
