Hey, even I have the same problem in my windows 2000 operating system. many times windows 2000 hangs up and stop responding also my computer become unresponsive to input from your keyboard or mouse, many times the screen turn black and all process in my computer stop responding.
This problem in windows 2000 occur dew not due to specific hardware or configuration the symptom like windows hangs up and stop responding, computer become unresponsive to input from your keyboard or mouse, screen turn black are more likely occur with the computer has multiple center processing unit (CPU) because it the increase concurrency.
Yep, it is true that this problem occur dew to increase concurrency in windows. But looking at the symptoms the main cause because this problem occurs is because of a defect in SCSI port driver, which is in Scsiport.sys.Quote:
