Getting white screen on iMac after minimal install of cli 11.04r
I have been using iMac G4 and I have recently installed cli 11.04 using the minimal install of it and I did not had any problem in the installation process but then after reboot when I ran the same then it gave me a blank white screen, I have tried out the variations of 'Linux nosplash video=ofonly' but then they did not helped, is there anyone who has an idea about the same and can help me out with it??

Before I suggest you something about the same can you just post the specification of the system that you are having so I can have a better idea about the issue that you are facing. Just mention then here for further help.

Since you are having the nvidia card I will suggest you to try out the nouveau.modeset=0, I am telling you try that because the nvidia cards were having driver called nv previously but then now they are named as nouveau by default, the other thing that I wanted to share is that in order to turn on the nv driver you will have to set up xorg.conf file but then do the same after you make the full install anyways for more help you can follow the below guide.

I will try out the same and will let you know the result as well but then I just wanted to know that are the video drivers actually needed?? As I have not yet installed the GUI and I have found that the command prompts appears to be fine during the boot up.Any further help for the same will be appreciated.
