I would like to discuss an interesting thing over here in this particular thread. I noticed blank green icon on Nokia N9. I moved all the .desktop files temporarily /home/user/.local/share/applications and /usr/share/applications. But still I was getting green icon on my device. I wanted to get rid out from the above mentioned issue. Can you help me out? Thanks a lot in advance.
Well I got the same icon on my phone after installing Calendar Feed from OVI store. I simply removed the app from the phone of mine and after that icon got vanished.
Looking at the situation I recommend that you should go for /usr/share/applications. From there you have to remove org.formeego.apps.one-click-install.desktop file. I am suspecting that there could be something wrong happened while updating the phone. You have to look properly to see whether any of *.desktop-file has been changed.
I recommend that you should try to Restore Settings on the device and see whether it is working or not.
- You should launch Setting and Tap on Reset.
- Now select Restore Settings
- Tap on Yes to proceed further.
- After restoring original settings the phone will simply get restart.
