I have a Mac OS X system and currently i used the Virtual DJ 7 software on my system. When i simply try to use this software with the Hercules DJ Console RMX software, i found that it won't work well. i need some useful solutions that works to fix this complex problem. When connected it to well, the console lights continuously blink on and off. It doesn't recognize the installed Virtual DJ software. Hence i need some kind of help to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for help.
Similar problem arrives on my system. Then i simply connected the same console to another usb port. This will work to fix my problem. Hence i just mention for you to simply try this and if possible then also replace your USB cable with the other. This will also work to detect the console continuously with the Virtual DJ software.
If you still continuously getting the blinked led lights on this console, you need to just reboot your system and after that simply check the console with the another available usb port. It might be possible that this will work to fix your console not working with the virtualDJ software problem.
If still you not able to fix your problem with this console, then simply reconnect and reinstall suitable software on your Mac system. This will be also better option for you. Fully reset all the connections on your system and reconnection with the Hercules DJ Console RMX. This will work to detect the software on the console. Hence try this totally reset process. It might be possible that it fix your problem.
For solving your problem, follow below process:
- Go to Device Manager and then click on the USB section.
- Open the host controller icon and hit "Advanced" tab.
- Confirm you unchecked the "Don't tell me about USB errors" checkbox.
- Download latest DJ Console RMX package and install it on your system.
- At the time of asking connect to DJ Console Rmx, select Next option.
- Do it at the last step of installation process.
- Finally you can catch the message shows that Drivers are older than expected
- It shows no console connected to your system.
- Select OK and Close Control Panel if it still open.
- Go to Windows Task Manager and select the Process tab.
- In that tab, choose HDJSeriesCPL.exe and then hit End Process option.
- Go to Device Manager and choose console MIC On/Off button.
- Connect the port and test the bulk device status.
- Use Action menu in the device manager and Scan for Hardware changes.
- Put "C:\Program Files\Hercules\Audio\DJ Console Series\firmware\HDJSeriesUpdater.exe" command in run window and press enter.
- Choose Open Audio button and then browse RMX TUSB (RMX_TSUB.dja) firmware
- Connect device in normal mode.
- In manual updater, make sure Firmware audio version is 31.
- That’s it. It makes proper connections.
Most of the situations, trouble arrives because of the previous installed sound driver. USe new console and then install latest driver. In such situations use both the console. open C:/Windows/System32/drivers folder and remove hdjbulk.sys, hdjasiok.sys and hdjmidi.sys files on it. Open this recently installed latest driver. This will solve your problem.
