How to hide drop down arrows in Excel
Months ago, I created a drop down list for one of the columns on my worksheet. Since then, I have decided to eliminate the list. I went in to the place where I defined the range and deleted the name. I also deleted the referenced range. But, when I click on a cell in this column I still get the drop down arrow, even though the list is empty. How do I get rid of the arrow? So is there any way to hide or to stop this drop down arrows in Excel. If you guys have any information then please let me know.

According to my information these drop down arrows in Excel is for the Data-Validation, that inform about the input for the correct data type at the respective place.

More than likely you have the data validation still set. There is the need to turn off, so To turn it off, you just have to go to the standard toolbar, and then hit Data -> Validation, and then hit the "Clear All" button at the bottom left side of the dialog box. May this will help you out to get over your query.
