As new to the computer and its technology I would like to know that the what is the surface computing and what are the advantages and the disadvantages of the surface computing.
So do anyone have the idea about this so that I can get the additional knowledge for this.
Even… I would like to know about this as a noob to this type of thing knowing this will be helpful for me. So anyone having the idea about this please share the same with me.
According to me the surface computing is the thing that works with the other objects instead of keyboard and the monitor. This technology was introduced by the Microsoft.
I had some knowledge for the surface computing but want to know the exact details for the surface computing and also want to know about the advantages and the disadvantages for the surface computing.
The surface computing is just similar like the touch screen phones which can be navigated through the touches. Surface computing uses the infrared cameras for any of the input done and also uses the electric charges for the touches.
So I guess you got the clear idea about what is surface computing and how it works internally.
Here are the Advantages for the surface Computing:
• This things can be used in the commercial purpose
• Using in the restaurant will make placing the order easy.
• It can keep track on the all the records
• Since it works on the glass it can be used in the casinos for playing the blackjack and also playing the poker and all different game with this.
So I think enabling the surface computing will give good response to the commercial use.
I got the idea about the advantage for the surface computing but want to know that what are the disadvantages of the surface computing as there are always disadvantages of the any of the product. So I would like to know what are the disadvantages for the surface computing.
Disadvantages for the surface computing is as follows:-
• First thing I would tell you that the price of the surface computing is more.
• Other things is that it requires holographic glass, a projector and also two cameras for installation.
• For this Microsoft are working for some of the softwares for the surface computing.
• And not any of the software wilkl be able to work on this and for which requires special software which is still under development. So if you install for the business you would be able to run more of the functions.
• If you want to scan any of the paper document then it can do as it is yet not designed for this type of purpose.
So this bare the disadvantages for the surface computing as you all wanted to know
Has the surface computing have been officially announced for the normal users or is it available for the commercial / business purpose. As I like the concept of the surface computing technology as launching this will get rid of the objects like the mouse, monitor, keyboard etc.
So for this do anyone of you have the specific answers for the surface computing.
As far as I know about this I would say that surface computing is not yet launched and is under development. And I don’t think so it will be releasing soon. As this technology has to go from various test.
So for this I would say that you have to wait for this technology.
about the surface computing I would say that still there is time to get with this type of technology and biggest disadvantage for this technology would be the gadgets used will cost you more then any of the device we use currently for the computing.
