Nucleus RTOS and Android OS for mobile
Hi,
I'm new to this forum.
I have a 2 year old Chinese phone which runs on the Nucleus RTOS. I'd
like to run Android with it or instead of it to receive latest Android
Apps.
I'm a novice and I'd like some advice of what is required and how do I
go about it please.

Re: Nucleus RTOS and Android OS for mobile
The china mobile phone that you have which is running on the Nucleus RTOS is not a very capable OSand it doesn’t have nearly the same potential that Windows, or Android or Symbian has. And since android and other operating system mobile phones prices are becoming more affordable, hence china markets have started developing more cheaper device with such Nucleus RTOS based OS, and I dont think it is possible to run android with it.
Re: Nucleus RTOS and Android OS for mobile
Thanks for reply. I thought the Nucleus OS was more versatile and could accommodate Linux based software.
Re: Nucleus RTOS and Android OS for mobile
Developers are still working on running Android framework on Nucleus. For this you'd need to make some significant OS-level changes to either abstract the Linux calls to something that works with both Linux and Nucleus, or translate them wholesale to Nucleus.
