There is no doubt that firefox browser if the best for all operating system whether it is windows xp or windows vista. Internet explorer on the other hand can be compared to the worst ever browser in the whole of this system. IE is very slow and consumes too much memory and after sometimes hangs where else firefox is fast and even though it consumes memory but doesnt hangs like IE.
mmnn ive never had ie8 hang and i prefer it to chrome . never used firefox so cant help there .. im using 64bit version of win7 ultimate 8 gig memory quad core cpu . and on my vaio its 4 gig memory, dual core, win 7 ultimate no probs with ie 8 but ie9 slows laptop .. not 2 slow ..
