i am using dell L502X and Windows Experience Index as i wanted to measures the capability of your computer's hardware and software configuration . so for this reason, i wanted to make use of it in GT 525M and make a calculation of the Graphics/Gaming score. so how to do that.
i think there can be possible solution if you try by right clicking desktop and then Nvidia. you will find the way through which you can be able to manage 3D settings/global settings.
if i suppose you require a detail information about it, i should recommend that you should go in the nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings and have a change over the global settings to high performance Nvidia graphics and again return to the WEI.
considering the increase of the score, i can say here that, the highest WEI will gonna be 5.9.in the case where you are having a mechanical drive in the machine i think according to the question you posted, you're seeming to have an overall score. and making to this solution i should tell here that with some exotic RAID setup with very, very fast drives, you are able to score higher having a mechanical drive setup.
according to me there are people who have 7.5, 7.5, 5.9, 6.6, 6.8 scores on their windows 7 operating system and on a ssd. also if considering their l502x with the 2720QM and GT540m their scores are good and well enough. An important role in determining the HDD score would be seeking times and randoms plays. and those having a mechanical drive, for them it may not go above 5.9. some sorted out by setting WD Black 7200RPM drives in a raid 0 setup (200MBps read/ 200MBps write) in their custom overclocked gaming rig and teh problem persisted for them and there was 5.9. and they remained attached with it.
there is 2720qm has a faster integrated graphic which will suppose you to be well enough for your needs. i should also say to you that there are hardware configurations related to it , so the fact can be if you increase your RAM usage, and also the graphics, along with gaming graphics. and the most important of all is the hard drive.
