Hey all, i am getting the Bookmarks lost problem after i updated this to the Firefox 8. when the update finished at that time i tried with the searching the bookmarks but still there i get that the bookmarks are totally gone. why this happens to me? please reply me back what can do to get them back??
Ok, if you are getting this type of the problem then for that i will suggest you to try with the searching JSON file in you computer. i am telling you this all things because, this is the file which contains bookmarks when you process them try to get that file, if you are able to get that file then i am sure that you will get your Bookmarks again. reply me back what happens when you try with this.

OK if you are getting that type of the problem the for resolving that, i will suggets you to try wiht the steps which is as::
- Go to the folder located here:
- C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ your_default_profile_folder
- after this try with the openning the "bookmarkbackups" folder.
- let me tell you here that backup of all your lost bookmarks is saved in this folder automatically.
- after this, start the Firefox.
- and then go to Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks.
- In the Bookmarks Manager, click Import.
- Select Import from File, and click Next.

thanks for this suggestion, i tried with this also, but i am not able to get the folder which you have located in your post.
Me too having the same problem and for resolving this i have also tried with the steps over here. but still i am not able to get the lost bookmarks again. what else should i try with that?? please reply me back if there anyone have the other suggestion for this.
