i want a second AC Adapter for my Asus G73JH-A1 laptop. My power brick reads 19.5V 7.7A and to is subsistence i made a searchch for 19v 7.9A.i doubt for one thing, if using both at a time will cause the system harm or to not to make use of or is it safe to use? i dont know the other alterntive for having a match for an another AC adapter? how to get it?
yes you are able to obtain one from Targus on Amazon etc. if you consider the configuration or specification wise, i want to tel you that It's a 180 watt PSU and has adapter for the G73. but i don't have an idea about the actual price in the market.
i should recommend that buying a third party will not prove to be beneficial,or i can say that most of the customers feel uncomfortable with the auto switching one.the other facts in which it lacks is its voltage/amperage difference in the aftermarket adapters. so its upon you to have a choice for.
i want to say in this case that, any quality adapter which founds to be a match with the the stock adapter voltage (19.5V), is rated for the least minimum 150W (7.7A @ 19.5V), and if it has the correct size plug, it should function well in this case.i also want to say to all that it works fine for Gateway P-7805u in addition to G73JH.
