SMPS Power supply failed with 5 X HDDs
I need some help of you all people. I need help regarding the SMPS power supply for my HDDs. I have 5 X HDDs and the SMPS power supply (Zebronics 400 W power supply)f ailed with these HDDs. My other specifications are. I owe pentium 3.00, 5 HDDs including one DVD writer. MY main PC does not detects HDD that is attached to raid card. It detects 2 or 3 Hdds only. An suggestion how to make all 5 of them detected?
Re: SMPS Power supply failed with 5 X HDDs
Pentium 3 motherboards are known to have situation to distinguish various HDDs and if the HDD size is higher than 160GB. Likewise 400W PSU is small underpower to capacity 5 HDDs as well as alternate segments. Get a 600-700W nearby PSU from Foxin, intex or Frontech, cost should be within 700 to 900 bucks. In the event that thats not the case then I surmise the situation is with your mother sheet, not with PSU. I have 4 HDDs associated and Speedfan demonstrates this capacity requirement level as it is 400 W Zebronics.

Re: SMPS Power supply failed with 5 X HDDs
I had the comparative scenario so attempted to evacuate 1 harddisk and it locates harddisks a considerable number of times and I attempted to evacuate any one hdd not any specific one. I thought I might as well strive for higher smps resulting from the fact that I cant unite 5 hdd to motherboard without strike card as motherboard has just 1 ide port.
