Hi, I am about to buy the phone I have mentioned in the title but still I have some doubts regarding the phone as i want to know whether it is possible to reassign the camera key of the mobile to some another button? Please let me know as I am quite fascinated to have this phone, any suggestion would be surely appreciated. :p
I am not getting what you are trying to say but still assuming as you must be talking about changing the dedicated key provided by the company so let me tell you as this is not possible for sure.
Because as far as changing the button refereed we can say that we can do that by assigning any shortcut key.
Though I am agree with the above user but still I have heard that it is possible through any third party application, you should try to find out any such application in the android market. I am not sure about the exact name but you should try to search it as “shortcutd” I hope you’ll surely get some result for this.
Thanks for the suggestions guys but I have heard that for doing all this thing first of all we need to root the phone, is it true? is it necessary?
No, as mentioned above you can simply make use of any such third party application for changing that key. If you search in the market you’ll get the application called buttonremapper to reassign the camera key. See I have mentioned the picture below so that you can refer it.
