Is it possible to make WIFI call through HTC amaze 4G

Guys I am planning to have a newer phone from the HTC after seeing its newer series with the android, and among them I liked HTC amaze 4G mobile but still I have some doubts regarding its features. The one that I am expecting with the mobile is the WIFI calling, the thing that made me confused over here is like when I was seeing the feature list on amazon they haven’t listed any such feature on their website. so is there anybody having this mobile please let me know whether is it possible to make WIFI calls through this mobile? If yes then also tell me how we can do this, as I am very excited to know about it more and more. :p

How is it possible, have you read the specification perfectly? Because as the extent to I know the mobile you have mentioned is one of the T-mobile thus it must have this facility for sure. The only thing that we need to have is the capable SIM card rather network operator.

I am agree with the above users statement but moreover to this let me tell you as you must have to install any such application as well through which you can make calls, I am not sure what are those application as I haven’t used it ever yet but still I have heard a lot about it. I would like to suggest you that you should try to search the same thing on internet, because I am sure you’ll get some sort of information regarding the same for sure.

exactly I was also thinking the same and when I searched about the same I came to know about the application called skype, is this is the only application that you were talking about?

Yeah skype is a application through which you can make a call through internet but It's not like skype since there is no client. basically, it's GSM over IP. UMA is built into the phone.

It allows you to utilize the wifi to make calls without using your cellular minuets. I consider it a bonus with the service, in other words you won’t have to pay to your network operator for any made calls through the WIFI but be aware as unless you have the unlimited WiFi calling feature, it does in fact use your plan minutes. essentially, UMA streams the GSM packets over the internet to your phone in its place of the cell towers. yet again there is no client and the technology has to be supported by both your handset and network. UMA also permits you to move from WiFi to a normal GSM tower and vice versa without dipping a call.
