HTC Amaze 4G Screen bleed
I have just purchased the HTC Amaze which is under the 4G network and it is really amazing in all. I thought that it is really amazing in all aspects but I was wrong. I can notice that I have a terrible display bleed, as well single dead pixel. Anyone else have the similar problem?
Re: HTC Amaze 4G Screen bleed
You must require replacement before activating your phone online. They'll need to change it. If they refuse then you are still in the time of withdrawal so you all their return and you cancel your opening line. You're in your right and do not listen because they will do everything so that you do not cancel your opening line. Do not let you have the law on your side.
Re: HTC Amaze 4G Screen bleed
Programs such as Pixel Fix cannot do work within minutes. It can sometimes be hours / days for the results. I would advise you to phone one night to run with Pixel Fix. Only then can do its job properly. I tried three different ones before I gave up. All of them had that with the lights. When on they bled up the bottom of the screen. You can really notice it when the screen is dark or black background.
Re: HTC Amaze 4G Screen bleed
It seems to me like a Tolerable error pixels. When a primary color has failed: max. 3 pixels constantly "on" or max. 2 pixels permanently "off", which may be the distance between two defective pixels is not less than 5mm. Failure of more than one primary color of a pixel: 0. Since the manual is a guide for the workshops and warranty repairs, the service centers will certainly abide by it.
Re: HTC Amaze 4G Screen bleed
I think the easiest would be to contact support for HTC and explain the situation. (You can also insist on to explain that even one pixel on a device of this award is not acceptable). If you look here, opinions are divided on the number of defective pixels required to obtain warranty service. You can also see that users are 'massaged' their screen :-), makes cycle on / off and for some it has corrected the problem.
