Give me a hand with a strange bin format

Hi! Couple of weeks ago i buyed a THOMSON S4 LED Edge tv, is full HD the image is great and it record's in usb drives like pen drives and external hdd's,
When i record a movie for examples it creates a folder with the time, date, and the name of the channel, in the folder are two files .pvr and .bin, i tryed to open them with a bunch of programs like vlc, magic iso, etc, but none worked.
So here i am asking of help.

OH and i almost forgot, vhen i open the bin file in vlc, it appear a button beside the play button, is caled teletext activation, so vlc tryes opens something.

I think problem you are getting is with the version of VLC. some of older version VLC are not able to open .bin files. so for that you have to make use of latest version of it. so i will suggest you to download most up to date version of VLC and again try to open these files. i hope this will help you.
