Why is blackberry storm not working with windows 7 (64-bit) and on outlook 2010?
Well I am trying since but I am not getting it. I have a dell pc and blackberry storm. My system configuration is as follows,
• Windows 7 Home Premium
• Acer Aspire 7540
• 4 GB of Memory 64 Bit Operating System
• Blackberry Storm 9530, Platform Version 4.2.0.179, Application Version 5.0.0.419
I have installed the latest version of the desktop software. Also I have spent time with telus. Mss and mtp both are not working. I have tried installing and un-installing all the softwares many times but there is no success. The troubleshooter says that there is some problem. It also tries to install the MTP driver and fails. I am not able to do anything off the blackberry. My dell ahd power spike and my blackberry were little away from it. The Blackberry does not work with Outlook 2010. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Firstly let me tell you that the desktop manager is not compatible with outlook express 2010. I am not sure that there would be any remedy for this. I would say that you can explore the blackberry manually and get your pictures off the way. Just you need to treat it like an external drive

I would suggest you try out the following steps,
1. Go to Options >> Media Card (or Memory)
2. Check the following settings (if they are not listed this way, then change to reflect the following:
a) Media Card Support: On
b) Mass Storage Mode Support: On
c) Auto Enable Mass Storage: Yes
3. Save the settings and exit

Well let me tell you that this is not outlook express 2010 problem. It is same with the internet explorer. You cannot use windows explorer to see the blackberry. Let me tell you that it won’t connect anyway. It is also a windows 7 problem.
