Is Facebook button assignable to different application in HTC chacha

Hi, I have recently purchased a new mobile that’s HTC chacha. And I hope the users must be aware about the separate button assigned in the mobile for accessing facebook. But let me tell you as I use to use twitter only, and thus I never ever use facebook so the button is quite worthless to me.

And thus my question is like can we assign that button for some different task? I mean to say wherever we press that button it just open the application that we desire.

No as the extent to I know you cannot do this for sure, as the button is specially assigned for that application only.

I am agree with the above user, but still if suppose you are about to make some shortcut keys for any particular application than you can make use of another keys from the given keyboard apart from the key you have mentioned, because clearly this is not changeable.

You can have another option as well, I mean to say you have to press that button in order to access FB as well, so apart from that why don’t you put the application in your home screen so that there won’t be any need of pressing the button even and you can access it with very ease from the screen itself.

Thanks for the suggestion, actually I was pretty sure but still want to confirm at least so that if suppose there could be any way to do that so I can know it better.
