Hello, I don’t know much about CD player but for DVD player you need to implement the blue-ray which is in the blue-ray player software and the counter Remaining changes: 2 should be the value for it in the device manager after flashing the drive and before you insert the next R1-DVD. Hope this part of information will help you a lot.
Re: How to flash DVD or CD writer from BH10LS30 to BH12LS30?
Hello, just check it again as counter cannot go to 4 as 4 include the vendor reset which is not possible in your case so to change it to the best value auto reset the firmware flashed and everything is done after that whenever you shutdown or restart your computer the counter value will automatically restarted. And then check the value if it is changing or no. if not so then flashes the firmware again with an appropriate firmware.
Re: How to flash DVD or CD writer from BH10LS30 to BH12LS30?
Hello, well in your case the restarting the computer is not enough as driver need a power cycle to reset the counter so restarting the computer is not enough as when the power-cycle the system then the driver will automatically reset the counter to Remaining changes: 2 as driver use to reset the region to R2 but the older version will change it to R1.hopw this is enough information to get rid from your problem if you can’t get the things then search it in YouTube to how to do that.
