How to test motherboard processor compatibility?
I have one computer with a broken motherboard and a good processor and another computer with a working motherboard and crappy processor. I'd like to put the good processor on the working motherboard but I'm not sure if they are compatible. I have no idea how to tell what sort of motherboard or processor is in either computer.
Re: How to test motherboard processor compatibility?
Does the processor consist of pinless or non-pinless steel at the bottom? Can you post a picture of both the motherboard and processor so that people who might be familiar with the board or processor can recognize it and tell you what is the make or model. Also, isnt there anything written on the motherboard or the processor like from which company it is from or so?
