Hi there, I am trying to update the firmware on my galaxy s to 2.3 but when I plug it in to my samsung laptop and activate samsung kies it comes up when an error message saying windows has a problem and has to close down the programme. I have tried a few times and just cant get it to work.
Can you please tells us what if the model or version of the Samsung Galaxy S that you own? Is it Samsung I9000 Galaxy S or Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus or Samsung I9003 Galaxy S SL or Samsung I9010 Galaxy S Armani? Because every model I think has a different firmware for it. And you must also know that taking his route can also void the warranty of your mobile phone or (worst case scenario) brick your phone.
