IBM r51 2895 Wireless connection problem

Hi, I have IBM Thinkpad r51 2895 and having a serious problem with wireless and ethernet connection issues.

I recently formatted XP SP2 and installed drivers. However, after installing drivers for wireless and ethernet connections, I still do not get icons to show up under my network connections.

I am not sure if I need to install some drivers before I install wireless & ethernet drivers.

Under my add/remove programs, wireless driver does show up. It's just that it does not show up under network connections.

Please let me know what I need to do to solve this problem.

In my opinion I think you need to check weather your driver CD is proper and if it is then try to install it again and if then also it is not working you just need to try and get a new cd and try installing because it seams as you said you were not able to install your driver properly.
