YouTube Error on Camino browser
I can see an embedded video, at google, but while I attempt to watch the exact similar video at YouTube I obtain the black screen with the error message "an error raised, please attempt again later". I have an omission for YouTube in my exceptions list. And I have attempted this with the "New" YouTube and the "Old" YouTube, "fusion" the HTML5 beta and "leaving" the HTML5 beta, trashing all YouTube cookies among switches.
Re: YouTube Error on Camino browser
- Is your Flash plug-in up-to-date is the most recent.
- YouTube is messing about with URL formats at that moment. How are you accessing the videos on YouTube? By pointed on the YouTube website or with a few utility which passes around the URL? The latter may require an update.
- "Joining" the HTML5 beta won't do anything for Camino, as it doesn't sustain the video format utilized.
Re: YouTube Error on Camino browser
I depart to YouTube homepage and click on any featured video. I go to "My Videos" and click on one I have uploaded. I have attempted lots of dissimilar access points. Here's a twist: if I depart to my (or anybody's) channel the video will play in the channel. But the similar video will not play outer the channel. Sort of like fixed videos on added web pages will play but the exact similar video will not play at YouTube.
Re: YouTube Error on Camino browser
Here I also wish to add my nodes in this as I also have bit error with this. Similar story here, starting just a few days before (not exactly certain when). Cookies put to "Don't accept any cookies" with YouTube in the Exceptions catalog give me the 'An error took place please attempt again later' message. But with cookies put to "Accept cookies from sites I visit" and "Ask me" it plays well. I am utilizing Camino 2.1a1pre on Gecko 1.9.2 namely.
Re: YouTube Error on Camino browser
For those of you who look to have troubles with YouTube: did you ever configure Flash preferences through the Flash/Web interface? For myself I have not at all utilized those preference settings. I typically manually take away all data that the Flash player stores on my hard disk physically (about once each day or two). That data is amassed in ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash. YouTube stores a slight something there.
Re: YouTube Error on Camino browser
I had the trouble with the error message telling me to recall later, while Safari worked ok. I attempted allowing cookies for YouTube, and that seemed to fix the trouble. Then I determined to see what YouTube cookies I had. There was semi a dozen, so I removed all of them, and put the preferences to refute cookies to all of the YouTube references in the exceptions catalog. At a standstill works. The just dissimilarity is the message which comes up saying YouTube no longer supports Camino. I discover that preferable to YouTube dumping cookies on my machine.
