Samsung Focus is not detected by computer
Whenever I try to connect the Samsung Focus with my computer then I obtain a code 28 and it says that it is an unidentified device and no driver accessible for that device. When I open the device manager from my computer then I found that there is no portable device choice for me to choose zune and manually modify the drivers toward that folder. Why isn't there some portable device alternative on my computer? I am having the 64 bit windows 7 installed on my PC.
Re: Samsung Focus is not detected by computer
I don’t think that the problem is with the operating system that you are using with your computer. Are you using the cable that must be come with the Focus? If you are using something else then you should make use of that cable that ncomes with the box and see if that helps you. After connecting that, restart your computer and see if the issue persists or not. I hope that you will be out of issue after this.
Re: Samsung Focus is not detected by computer
Have you installed the Zune software in your computer? If not then install it from the software CD. If you have already installed that then uninstall that from your computer and then install that over again. This is because if the installed software is corrupted then reinstalling will resolve the issue for you. This is the only thing that I can suggest you at the time. Please reply back if that does not help you.
Re: Samsung Focus is not detected by computer
There might be some problem with the settings in your phone and so you are facing that problem. If you are not able to understand that what is the exact setting that has been changed then you can try to reset the whole settings of your phone and see if that helps you. This will take all the phones settings to the default value and may also resolve the issue. Good Luck!!!
Re: Samsung Focus is not detected by computer
If you want to reset the phone then you will have to go to Settings > About > Reset Your Phone. This is the factory reset that will set the phone back into a default condition. But make that as the last option for you if none of the other solution helps you. I have seen many of the similar issues where resetting the phone resolves the problem and so I wish that it will so the same for you as well.
