Re: Dell Latitude E6400 unable to find Base Device Driver
Hey sometime this happen to laptop, but don’t worry the drivers which you are missing are normal and not that much important, but still if you want you can try some solution. Firstly you try to reboot your laptop again and again. And another one is if you have turned off your windows update then turn it on, because by making it turn on windows update will automatically try to install them. If this is not working for you then try to program this to automatically find drivers for your hardware, I think this will solve your problem, keep in mind when you reboot windows update must be turn on. All the best!
Re: Dell Latitude E6400 unable to find Base Device Driver
Hey friend thanks for the solution, I have the same series of laptop, unfortunately I was having the same problem, but after reading your post I got through to the one problem. Windows update in my laptop was turned off, when I read your post I make it turn on, it went on updating windows whole night, on next day when I see the problem related to Broadcom USH driver was solved but I didn’t got through to Base System Device. Also I am having the same problem for my Bluetooth device, so according to you what is the reason? Is it same? Pleas reply.
Re: Dell Latitude E6400 unable to find Base Device Driver
Wow that’s sounds good that you got through to your problem. Well in that case I can only say that it must be your wireless Bluetooth card, you can follow some steps below;
- Go to official website of your laptop’s series. Select Windows 7 32 bit
- Inside this you will find wireless 370 Bluetooth Driver
- Click on download
- In those downloaded files you will find .exe file, just do right click on it and select properties.
- Chose compatibility tab then drop down menu, select windows 7
- Then run that file in Run command, install it
I hope this step will help to to fix your problem related to Bluetooth device. Also you can try some other software. Thank you.
