Well recently I have purchased Nokia C7. I really loved the phone of mine. from past few days I am getting a strange issue with the phone of mine. whenever I am making attempt to connect with the computer through USB cable but I am unable to connect with the computer though it is in the Ovi suite mode. Let me know if you are having the problem like me and also suggestion to fix the problem of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.
Well looking at the situation which you have provided over I want to ask something which you should answer the same so that I can figure out the root cause of the problem. Have you ever attempted to connect in Mass Storage and then going for the Nokia Ovi Suite mode? Do you have tried to connect the phone with the different computer? you should answer the above mentioned thing as early as possible into the next thread.
Well I am suspecting that there is something wrong with the USB cable or USB port which you are using to connect your phone with computer. you should try to connect with the different USB cable and see whether you are able to connect or not. also you should try to connect your phone with different computer. well all the above mentioned thing will help you out to find out whether there is problem with the USB cable or computer itself.
In this particular problem I recommending that you should go for the soft reset the phone of yours. basically soft reset has been used to clear all the pending error from the phone memory and bring your phone to the initial state. In order to perform soft reset you need to press *#7380# from the keypad of the phone of yours. I let you know that no data would be erased after doing the soft rest so you did not needed worry about the data which you have stored in the phone memory.
I have seen number of Nokia C7 users who are having the similar problem like me. After doing little bit research I have found that the some of the files of the Nokia Ovi suite was corrupted on the computer. Well I have uninstalled the Nokia Ovi Suite from the computer of mine and reinstalled the same on the computer of mine. after reinstalling the Nokia Ovi suite on the computer I was able to connect the phone with the computer of mine.
I think there is an issue with the firmware of the of the phone itself. Well I recommend that you should install the latest firmware on the phone of yours. you should back up the data which has been stored on the phone memory why because all the data which you have stored on the phone memory would be erased after doing the firmware upgrade. Once you have competed with the process you should back up all the data into the phone memory.
Well let me know any of the above mentioned solution would help you to fix the problem or not. in case none of the above mentioned solution were helpful to you then I am suggesting that you should visit the Nokia Care Center and claim for the service warranty. I let you know that your service warranty would be void if your phone is having physical damage. Well according to me it is the most reliable solution to solve the problem of yours.
