Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
I have installed Harmony One with a Macbook Pro Immediately after, my computer developed problems early. I notice that after using Mac support now, the computer cannot find airport extreme card modem and I cannot access the Internet. My laptop is 10 months old. Has anyone experienced this before? And there is a solution that is not my purchase of a new airport express card? Please help me for this.
re: Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
When I launch the Mac version of Harmony software, which asks for my login ID. I put in the same entry that I use on my PC with Windows, but no entry in the Mac and I cannot get into the software. Should I create a new user ID for Mac? Or do I have to uninstall Windows software before you can log on to the Mac? Also, if I get connected and the software is opened on the Mac, I have to reset all my devices on the Mac, or I can connect my remote and the Mac will tell you what equipment I have?
re: Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
If you create a new account, you must start again, adding all the devices and the creation of new activities. You should be able to access your account utilizing your previous Mac with no troubles. Uninstall the Logitech software on your computer will have no consequence with the Mac If you at a standstill can, t go into your account with your Mac, you need to contact Logitech support. Normally, I think that installing the software for the first time could be put on the 'Create New Account "area of the software. If you have the option to Password and Confirm password, then you're in the wrong section. Click Cancel and return to the 'New User' and 'Return the user's screen. Make sure you are logging in to their computer credentials in the "Returning user."
re: Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
I have Harmony 880, and I've updated my Logitech remote software version 7.7. I'm running OS X 10.6.3. The firewall is disabled. Antivirus No software is running. I have no other USB devices connected. I can connect the remote control (without battery installed) and the USB connection is confirmed on screen remote control. When I try to update the remote, argues that "Connect the USB cable in the remote, or press any button on the remote control to activate it." I never had this problem when using version 7.6 of the software. On the other hand, I explored the Internet and you can just discover version 7.7. I uninstalled version 7.7, after that reinstall, but no change.
re: Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
I have spent almost two weeks trying to get the Harmony 900 work - I tried 2 of my Macs and a PC with XP. Disabled firewalls, antivirus, another USB cable and ports. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the bundled software and download v7.7 Logitech support. My out distance of the box only showed the charging icon once. Since then, he has shown well at all (completely blank) or the Welcome screen of Logitech - and now is permanently in safe mode. My investigation of the condition with this current knowledge (and having read many posts over the Internet) is that the Logitech USB drivers necessitate fixing. The answer to support the "Firmware Update" does not make sense if the remote cannot communicate with your PC or Mac, and this important point seems to have been overlooked by those who offer advice.
Re: Mac not communicating properly with Logitech Harmony one
I had the same experience as JC2010 had. Tried all the solutions. The best I've managed to work is intermittent connections. Sufficient to modernize the remote control and set in a vast cost (lost time). As well, to analyze the trouble each time the communication with the remote control is lost; there is no way that any other browser to access the Internet. Disconnect the remote control and restoration of windows restarts the process. The result is that any easy configuration update is a ache in the neck, not certain what modifications have in use into account, etc.
