Hello friend I am in the stage of assembling the new computer for me. I have some doubt so I want suggestion from this forum. If any suggestion, please post on this forum. I have MSI G65 motherboard. Online I found that this motherboard has updated bios. So I want to know that would I be able to put AMD Phenom 1055t processor in it or not. I have system boot and flash bios. Or should I go for the AMD three processor for installing the bios. If I any help would be appreciated.
Hello friend I am not sure about this, It Should be, but I will suggest you to ask the retailer. I know that AMD CPU use AMD tested MEMORY but Intel tested often fails. Till anyone has not Motherboard & CPU and can tell you for sure if it will or won't the best I would say is try it when you will have it. If it POSTS as 'processor not recognized' then only you should update your BIOS with it. So be careful while taking any step. If any further issue post on this forum.
I created a bootable FAT32 USB stick as the instructions said that the tool rack and put it on USB memory with uncompressed and compressed bios yet. Pressing F11 allowed me to choose to boot from USB memory, but not start. I reformat and put everything on the USB memory more, check it in the USB memory properties that it was indeed Fat32, and tried several more times, but it will not boot. So I went into the bios and flashed from the file on the USB drive, you could see. It flashed, restarted, and now recognizes the 1055T. I was able to load Windows 7 64 bit and now I'm ready to rock.
In my case, the system set up and go through the POST, but the CPU was recognized as "Unknown Processor 'but not boot Windows from the CD,nor boot in DOS FAT32 formatted USB memory. I read and and followed the instructions again and again for a couple of time and could not get it to work. I gave up and used M-Flash, which is the BIOS V1.6 USB memory, and bios work correctly.
Hello friend Firstly I would like to thank all the people who have given their view on this forum for this topic. I finally decided to change the processor Now I am going to have AMD three processor. I am sure about it that it will work with my MSI motherboard. So I will thanks once again to everyone.
