As you know that iPad 2 has released today itself. There are lots of talking the Retina is going to be display for the recently released product iPad 2. But still it is not cleared that what would be the resolution of the iPad Retina display. Any idea about this particular thing would be highly appreciated. I am waiting for the prompt replies of yours. Thanks a lot in advance.
I think in this particular thing most practical approach would be that doubling the resolution of the current iPad. It means that iPad is having the resolution of 1024x768 but it should become 2048x1536 at 260 DPI in iPad 3. It will not seems like a Retina display but it will follow the Apples effort in order to avoid the fragmenting the product line of them. According to view of the developer it would be quite easy to double the resolution of the screen.
Yes you are right Apples has already done the similar thing with iPhone itself. They have doubled the resolution of the screen 480x320 to 960x640 when they have introduced the iPhone 4 in the market. Same as iPhone 4 all the older app will run also the native apps will get the advantage of double pixel resolution on the screen. Version 1.1 of Apples iBook is also having the similar kind of thing.
For the both iPhone and iPad Retina would have the display like iPhone X2. It also including an additional version labeled by the iPadx2. I am sure about that particular thing resolution of version for the iPad icon is quite different. In the most likely explanation would be additional added graphic card would be the factor for the double resolution of the iPad. I have found the Apple has removed this particular thing form the subsequent version of iBook.
Looking at the situation and all the thing which is discussed in this particular thread and also considering the rumors I am assuming that higher resolution of iPad 2 would be there and it will be of 2048x1536 screen resolution. i am also assuming that there would be provision for the upgradiation of GPU so that one can get the higher resolution in this p[particular device. I am hoping that my assumption would be correct in this situation.
We should believe all the rumors which are coming in the market. I think we need to wait till the iPad 2 is being released and see whether there will be any support for the Retina. As far as I know this particular thing will going to happen in next few months by the Apple itself. There would b e update for the iPad 2 and finally Retina would relased for the iPad 2. Just wait and watch for this particular thing.
