Windows 7 applications unable to connect Internet
Hi, have on my desktop a gadget which shows me the current weather. Recently Connects the application is not using the Internet. Other weather applications do not connect. Furthermore, I noticed that when I start ICQ also getting the error come, "the site is not accessible in offline mode. I deliberately changed nothing and got my notebook Ledegem even trying to connect to a LAN cable to the Internet. However, I was able to build the LAN cable not connected. Only with Yahoo but I could go online to open any website. May have changed by connecting the cable to any setting and most importantly, how do I get the setting back reversed?
Re: Windows 7 applications unable to connect Internet
At my home with the wireless I have no problems connecting to me. Only the desktop application will no longer connected and ICQ are out at the start ne error message that connects but still. NIC is enabled. Yahoo was able to connect well but I could not call website. In IE, the offline mode was switched off. Today morning my system resets had about two days, now it runs on my wireless back without problems. Just wonder why something adjusted, followed only when a LAN cable. It was not the first time that I have it attached to the "foreign" network.
Re: Windows 7 applications unable to connect Internet
In Internet Explorer go to Tools menu look (far right) and whether as a hook or "x" stands before work offline. Why you could build with no cable connection? Is the network card disabled? Works in general any connection to the Internet? The fact that you can post here is no evidence for me. I hope you will understand what I am trying to say.
Re: Windows 7 applications unable to connect Internet
I think you need to do when Windows 7 is not able to connect to the Internet is to verify that the windows 7 application signal is received correctly in the router. If the ADSL light (or Internet) is off or blinking, it means that ADSL does not reach the router, and then, Windows has no guilt. Check the telephone cord and, if it is connected correctly, contact your Internet service provider.
Re: Windows 7 applications unable to connect Internet
Access the Start menu and type in the search field connection. You will see a list of possible options: Click Set up a connection or network and select the Internet on the screen that appears. Proceed by clicking Next and select the Configure a new connection anyway and then broadband or Wireless if you use a wireless connection. Follow all instructions to configure the connection and, when prompted, enter the data for the connection that you have been provided by your ISP.
