I have set up a Home group, which comprise my netbook as well as my desktop, both are running Windows 7 . My netbook observe my computer and the PS3 (PlayStation 3). as another device. At what time I go to windows media player to turn on media streaming, it take me to the "select media streaming" display where you are on the way to set authorization for the devices. The trouble is that the netbook or else the PS3 (PlayStation 3) or whatever thing else shows in the "show devices" section. It will not let me to name the media library or else formulate any changes to this display. Thanks for any help

I will recommend you to first confirm if the streaming is by chance shut down, you might refer the net as well as enable the streaming choice inside Windows Media Player. Also you may possibly attempt to for the moment disable Anti Virus and ensure if you be able to get the choice to play to as well as play it on your Play Station 3.
Re: Windows 7 does not recognize any devices on local networks
On the way to share you should have under 'Network and Internet' a 'Homegroup' set up by means of share pictures and so on. By means of devices checked. You should as well have under 'Network and Media Center' 'Share through Media Devices' the Local Network put to 'allow all'. You be able to with no trouble access these using Windows Media Player 12, if you see under the drop list 'share', it is the bottom two items, now choose those to go to the comparative section.
Re: Windows 7 does not recognize any devices on local networks
Thanks for your valuable response; on the other hand, none of the devices become visible on the local network or else "all network" tabs. No devices come into view in any way, as well as the description "local network" does not come into view either. It is blank as well as I am not capable to name my media network or yet click "ok." Is something corrupted?
Re: Windows 7 does not recognize any devices on local networks
I have the accurate similar trouble. I cannot observe my PS3 (PlayStation 3) or else any "unknown device" beneath Media streaming choice. I be able to ping the Internet Protocol under cmd for my PS3 (PlayStation 3). I can make use of a third party program on the way to share files to my PS3 (PlayStation 3). However I cannot for the life get Windows 7 on the way to steam to my PS3 (PlayStation 3).
Re: Windows 7 does not recognize any devices on local networks
I am also having the same trouble. I have spent a large number of times searching for a answer. I have seen others exposure this problem as well as no one has figure it out. I did have it functioning on this device absolutely well not long ago. I am preliminary to think that System Mechanic Pro 9 as well as its registry cleaner has made somewhat malicious. Even though I cannot pin the accurate timing down, it may possibly be more than a accident that it was just in recent times that I installed System Mechanic Pro on this device.
