Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
In the morning I just received a mail from Windows Live but I am not sure about the sender. In addition to that let me tell you this mail has a notification saying that they are closing some of the accounts and hence they need the details of the account there. They are asking for the username, password and the date of birth. Now please let me know if I should give this all details there. I am very much suspicious about this and let me know about the same here.
Re: Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
Well can you please send me the copy of the mail that you have just received or it will be much nice if you can just come up with the snapshot of that mail as well here. In the meant time let me tell you that there is really no necessity that you will have to give reply to this mail there. Yes it seems to be some kind of scam and as you know you are on the internet and you are bound to get this type of the things here. It is really not acceptable that you give the username and the password there. Waiting for your next post with the snapshot of the mail there.
Re: Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
This in reality is not official and it is a Scam for sure. Well you should really avoid this type of the scams and irrelevant mails here. They are the hackers that like to make access to the accounts and use them for some other case there. If it would have been from Microsoft then let me tell you they must have never asked for the password indeed there. Please do not reply to this mail and protect your identity for sure.
Re: Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
I was offered with such mail and let me tell you that I had a narrow escape to this situation. I was going to mail my all the personal information there but then my elder brother looked at the things and told me that this all things are not relevant and are a type of scams. They should be always avoided and should never be replied at all. In your case well the things are really clear as if this mail would have been from Microsoft then let me tell you that it would have never asked for private information like your birth date or username or password.
Re: Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
You must have listened the Google lottery scams for sure. It is very much similar to this and let me tell you that it will be really great if you can just avoid all this type of mail here. I was always asked for the mail information and let me tell you that it is on the internet going on yet. So if you are getting anything that is doubtful then you should not blindly follow the things there. I think that you must have understood the things here.
Re: Scam mails on my Windows Live Message
I am of the opinion that it will be great if you can avoid all this type of scams that use the name of Microsoft. You can make the Security on Firewall high and see if that can help you with the things here. Also in addition to that there are many other scams that should be avoided for sure. Scams like that offer you money or prize or gifts. Please see that you do not bring the trouble in your case here.
