From last week I am searching an way of using my own Mp3 as a ring tone on my Nokia C3. It is possible to download it to my music file, but not to my ring tones. I had performed many things, but none of them are effective on my nokia C3. Now I am thinking of taking phone back to shop as it doesn’t appear to what it says it does. Can anyone me to solve this problem.
Don’t be so upset. I don’t know you tried this or not. It is an easy way to set mp3 as a ring-tone on your nokia C3. You just need to follow steps given below to get desired output:-
- MENU
- APPS
- EXTRAS
- NO NAME (Which is actually my memory card expansion)
- MUSIC (My particular music file)
- OPTIONS
- USE TONE
If it is not possible to you to use mp3 as ring tones from application, there is another way to reach your goal. You just have to set your ring-tone from profile for which you just need to follow steps given below To get what you want. Steps are as follow:-
- Go to Settings
- Profile
- Personalize
- Ringtones(select option)
- Select change
- Open Gallery select no name
- Scroll down to music
- Open music
- Select track you want to use and save it.
If you are unable to set mp3 as ring tone even after making changes through application, then I suggest you to perform “restore factory settings” , for that you just need to type ”*#7780#” from your key-pad. After entering the code if your cell phone prompts’ you to enter security code then type “12345” which is default to all nokia mobile phones.
If you are unable to set up mp3 as a ringtone, by using application and performing factory set up. Just prefer manual book which contains all information regarding your phone. If you still not satisfied simply visit nokia’s official site which contains all information related to your phone. If you still not convince then make a visit to your nearest nokia’s gallery, you can easily find your nearest nokia’s gallery by visiting their official site.

This is not possible to do it from your phone. If you want then you you can contact to the service provider and ask them to set that song as the caller tune. They will charge you for that but it will be done.
I did that but they didnt do any thing

Service provider means the network provider like Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Loop, etcc.. Secondly, you want the caller hear your song, that is called Caller Tune and it can only be set by your network provider, either automatically or manually. In case of ringtone, you can do it yourself but for Caller Tunes, only your service providers can help you. :whistling
