Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
This is from an hour ago, when I try to visit any web page such as google.com, cnn.com or anything else then I continuously get a warning for malicious web page that says that I require going to a link to afantispy.com and buying the antispyware from there. I stay receiving messages which says that xxx.exe cannot run since it is infected. Norton is not able to detect anything from my system. I think that this is because of the Norton antivirus that is installed in my system. Because this is started from when I installed Norton Internet Security. Please help me guys.
Re: Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
It sounds like your system is picked up a serious infection of some malware or virus. So the best way to get out of this is to go to the safe mode and scan your computer for any such infection from there. To go to same mode, you have to keep on pressing F8 key when your system is loading. Select safe mode from that screen that will appear. After logging into safe mode, scan the entire system for such infection and clean all the infected files from there. After that boot in the normal mode and try to access any site.
Re: Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
I think that the problem is with the browser that you are using. The browser may be corrupted. There are many other browsers available on web. You can download any from them and install it to your computer. If the problem is with any particular browser then using different browser will solve the issue for you. By the time, you can also try by clearing the history of the browser and also clearing the cache. Sometimes, they may also create the problems like this. So try these two things and check whether it solves the issue for you or not.
Re: Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
If you think that it is because of the Norton antivirus that you are using then you can disable the antivirus temporarily and check if it is allowing you to access the web pages. If that is solving your problem then I it may be something related to the settings for the antivirus. You can go to the settings and do the appropriate changes in that. Don’t make the security level to high, make it normal and save the settings. I am saying this because it is possible that the antivirus is blocking the sites for some security reasons.
Re: Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
You need to contact the support for Norton. Ask then for the issue that you are getting. There are the people who know that what are the possible problems that can be happen to the Norton antivirus. They will give you the exact reason and also the solution for this by which you will be able to resolve this problem. According to me this will be the best and the safest way to get out of this and this is the first thing that you need to do in such cases.
Re: Unable to browse Web/Norton cannot detect anything
If you are using the older version of the Norton then also you may get the issues like this. My recommendation to you is to search for the latest release of that and download that. Uninstall the one that is installed in your computer and install the downloaded one on your system. There is more possibility that updating to the latest version of it can resolve this problem.
