Cannot find Wireless NIC after updating Norton 360
I really do not know what is the issue between the Norton 360 and the Wireless NIC that I have here? Whenever I try to update the Norton 360 I have seen that Wireless NIC of mine just gets disappeared and I am really fed up with the behavior of the Norton Antivirus and I really want to have explanation on this. Is there having this issue on their system. I have seen this issue a number of time here and will be happy to have solution for this here.
Re: Cannot find Wireless NIC after updating Norton 360
Well what is the operating system that you have on your system and in addition to that please tell us what happens when you are able to see this issue on the system of yours. Well it is not like that you are the first one to get caught up with this issue but there were cases that had this issue there with them. Well if you are not able to locate the Wireless NIC of yours then I am of the opinion that you will be required reinstall the drivers for the NIC and see if that can help a bit in the scenario of yours.
Re: Cannot find Wireless NIC after updating Norton 360
I would recommend that it will be really better if you can just get rid of the Norton Antivirus and just get stick to something really better than this. I would recommend that it will be great if you can just go with the McAfee Antivirus instead of this bulky Antivirus of your system. Well that is what I want to suggest here and see if this can help in the situation of yours. Please remove the Norton Antivirus using the Norton Removal Tool and see if you can get rid of this completely.
Re: Cannot find Wireless NIC after updating Norton 360
I would have definitely went for some other Antivirus but the thing is that I have already purchased the subscription and I am now stuck here with it. I updated the Windows XP and along with that I thought that it will be great to update the Norton 360 on the system and when I did that after Rebooting the system I saw that it just make NIC of mine invisible here. After some hours passed I was able to see it back in the Network Connection here. Now today when I purchased the new subscription and then when I went for the installation and then again went for reboot again it disappeared the NIC of mine. Please let me know if there is a way by which I can get the solution in this case here.

Re: Cannot find Wireless NIC after updating Norton 360
Well looking at all the cases I am of the opinion that it will be really great if you can just have the Clean installation of the Antivirus here. Well in order to deal with the issues that have been come here I am of the opinion that this will really help you in the case of yours. Use Norton Removal Tool and then completely remove it from the system and then restart it and then go with the clean installation. Hope that this will really make the difference in your case. Also in addition to this if you want you can also go for installing the NIC drivers as well and see; after you do this you do not lose the Wireless NIC in your case. Please let me get notified about the same; and will be happy to see if this is working in your case.
