I think that you should first check that your application is compatible with Windows 7 or not. For that you will have to download the Upgrade Advisor Windows 7 to perceive if the Windows XP or Windows Vista you can upgrade to Windows 7. You can also use the Upgrade Advisor to observe if the Windows 7 can run a more proficient version of Windows 7. If your PC can run Windows Vista you may be able to run Windows 7, but also is a superior idea to utilize the Windows Upgrade Advisor 7. I am sure that this step will help you a lot.

Re: Microsoft Money for Windows 7
I have the version of Money 2005 on CD and I was looking for since the end of March to pass the application on my XP system equipped with the micro to the one I bought in late 2007 and is equipped OS Vista home premium. ... unsuccessfully of course. I did a search on Google which led me to some points. I followed exactly the instructions given in two messages in succession and now it works perfectly. I then had to:
- Copy the file from the first computer to second in the Documents folder (with my USB key)
- Then, pointing to the file with the mouse and making a right click / send to / Desktop (create shortcut)
- Back to step 15 of properties of Money in the list of programs, and I quote "15 Go to the Compatibility tab and uncheck Run this program as an administrator: the message will not appear again".
- My Money file (xxx.mny) runs directly from the desktop of Vista.
