Video chat flickers in Lenovo T410

I am having the Lenovo T140 laptop with the windows7 operating system and the Intel corei3 processor. I am also having the internet connection and that too oh Hathway. They are providing me the best of services. I have also installed the Yahoo messenger on it and mostly use the same for video chatting. Now the thing here is that i am not getting the proper video while chatting and the video usually flickers but the audio of the same is fine. Whenever i start chatting the video seems to be of bad quality and also it is flickering in between. Does any one else use yahoo for chatting if yes then hoe is the video chat performance. Please let me know how i can fix this problem

I think your video driver is not working proper and also it may have happen that it is being corrupted. What you have to do in this case is just check out for the appropriate driver that will help you. Just find out whether the driver is missing or not, and this you can do by going to system properties and then selecting the hardware and after that just select the device manager. The device manager will give you the exact detail whether the driver is present or not. If the driver is not present then you have to download the same from an official site and then uninstall the same on the system. Keep one thing in mind that you use the appropriate compatible drivers only. And if incase the drivers are found to be corrupted then you can update the same there itself. Updating or installing the video drivers will help you to solve the issue.

I think you have to check out with the internet connection of yours. According to me if the network is not offering you the best of speed then the video chat will definitely suffer. So try and demand for better speed in front of the network provider of your and also let them know that you are not able to do the appropriate video chatting. I think they try to help you out.

Well I guess you have to install the latest yahoo messenger. It may have happen that the yahoo messenger that you are using not supporting the video chat because of being getting corrupted. So do one thing just uninstall the yahoo messenger of yours and then install the latest version of it. I am sure it will give you better video chat then the earlier one.

IT may also depend on the person with whom you are chatting. The thing here is that if the person that is chatting with you has the low pixel camera then definitely you will be getting the worst of visuals. But on the other hand he will get good visuals since the camera clarity of yours is better than him. So you can’t help it out and will get the same visuals which are generated at his ends.
