Now this card is working on windows 7 but problem is started when I downloaded updated driver for this card. After installation this updating it started to give me an error that is after start of Windows when i am using it, suddenly it stopped to responding and created a noisy sound. I don’t what to do now. If anyone having solutions on this, then reply.
Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) crash on windows 7 32-bit
There can be several reasons for this problem but I assume that main reason could be the software programs that sound card uses or Windows drivers that are use to communicate with sound card. One of these two could be reason for this. I think you should completely remove all the drivers and programs related to the sound card and then again install them back. So that it might help you to overcome this issue.
Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) crash on windows 7 32-bit
Why don’t you install Window XP again on your computer? Because lots of people found this sound cards stable with the newer versions of Windows compare with older versions. I have experienced same things with this sound card while running on Windows 7. As far my knowledge, this sound card is works fine on Windows XP than Microsoft’s other operating systems. Then I reinstalled Windows XP for getting better functionality of this card. I will suggest you the same to, install windows XP and then use this sound card on it.
Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) crash on windows 7 32-bit
In my point of view you should first check all the capability such as available ISA, PCI card slots, or system RAM etc. and also verify the installation of the sound card and all its cables. And also make sure you haven’t knocked any cable loose. After all this reboots your computer to see the result. I think by doing this you can solve your query.
Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) crash on windows 7 32-bit
I have gone through your question, I think that this problem is occurred because of faulty installer. As you have written that you have installed updated driver, then I think due to the faulty installation this could be the reason. I advise you to install the driver again from the device manager. To make sure that your sound card is working properly, for that you have to use test file. I am using the same sound card with updated driver on my vista and it functioning well.
