Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
I have just come across a Sound Card and the name of that card is Creative Sound Blaster Ensoniq Audio PCI. In addition to that the Model for the same is CT4810. Well I do not have any idea about this card and will be happy if you all can let me know about the same. Also I have seen that it was said to work in the similar manner as that of the PCI 512. Well I was really shocked and wasn’t to know if this can be at all possible. Can this be true? Is there anything that can make the KX driver support CT4810? Well please let me know about the same. Any help in this matter will be really appreciated.
Re: Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
To a give start here I just want to say that in reality CT4810 is based on the ES1370 or ES1371 chipset. On the other hand the KX drivers are only for soundcards and in addition to that they are used mainly for the 10K1 or 10K2 chips. So I do not think that there is anything that can help you to see the KX driver supporting the CT4810. So I think that where you have seen this is simply fooling you. I think that I have made my point clear.
Re: Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
Well I am in complete agreement with what you have said. I have also not seen this thing anywhere else and will advise you not to go with the same. Well I have seen that the PCI512 card can have the support but in case of the CT4810 I can bet that you will not be able to see the same anymore. If you are up to having that sound card I would simply suggest you to drop that one and go for something else. For sure please get something else and I am sure that you will be able to find the better one instead.
Re: Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
I was also having one of my friends with the same question he was having the same issue. On his sound card there was written CT4810 and he was asking if he can have the KX driver here. Well I told him that there is no support at all here for that model from the KX side. And at that time the only driver that I knew was the Creative Labs Driver and that is the same that I would suggest you too here. Well if at all you want you can have the same from there. Hope that you will be able to find the right choice from there.
Re: Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
I also have some of the problem with the CT4810. Well the issue is with the drivers that I downloaded for the CT4810. I downloaded the drivers for the CT4810 and when I went for the installation I found that some Realtek stuff was installed along with that. I have seen that the Realtek Digital Output is selected as default device in the Control Panel and I really do not know the reason for this. Well if at all possible I would like to know about the same. The issue is much higher after installing the drivers also I can not get the sound. Well I have the specifications below:
- Operating System – Windows 7
- Soundcard - Creative Labs CT4810
- CPU - AMD Athlon
- RAM - 1.5 GB
- Graphics - ATI Radeon
I have given the specification and I will be happy if you can let me have the solution for me.
Re: Does the KX driver work with CT4810?
In your case I think that you have the Realtek onboard audio or also it can be because of the ATI card and it can be really if it is from the HD series of cards. The Realtek onboard audio card is enabled and hence you are getting this. Also I want to say that the card that you are having might be old and hence it can not have the drivers for the Windows 7. In addition to that I want to know what the video card that you are having is. In your case you I think that it will be better if you can stop using this sound card and go with the onboard audio.
