I have apple Macbook pro laptop. I want to convert ISO file into DMG file. I try to convert it but i didn't get any trick to convert ISO file into DMG file and i am not able to do it. Convert DMG files into ISO files is to easy with the help of software like Power-ISO. So if anyone have any idea about conversion of ISO file into DMG file then please help me as soon as possible.
There is a one method i know to convert ISO files into DMG file. I also have a apple laptop and some when i need to convert ISO files into DMG file i used this method. You have to first open command prompt to type the code which is use to convert ISO files into DMG file. Open command prompt and type the code "hdiutil convert /folder/folder/file.iso -format UDRW -o /folder/folder/file.dmg" where file name for "file.iso" your default file name and file name for "file.dmg" is depend on you. Name what will you type in this that will your default file name for .dmg file.
I think Disk Utility is a one of the best option to solve tour problem. Disk Utility is a utility which is a created by Apple for performing disk-related tasks in Mac OS X. Disk Utility is a utility which is used to the creation, conversion, compression and encryption of disk images from a wide range of formats read by Disk Utility to .dmg or—for CD/DVD images. So with the help of this Disk Utility you can easily convert your ISO file into a DMG file. so i think you have to try with Disk Utility.
ISO is a file format type which is used with Windows-based computers and DMG is another file format type which is used on Mac-based computers. To convert ISO files into DMG file we need a converter. You have to use MagicISO which is a converter software that is capable to convert various formats of disc image files. Click on MagicISO and open it on your computer. Then click "File" and then "Open" to open your ISO file. Click on "Properties" option and then select "Apple Disc Image" option. Click on "File" and then "Save As." Now you have to Select "Apple Disc Image" from the list and then click on "Save." It convert your ISO file into a DMG file and saved on your laptop. So try with it.
You also use Nero Burning ROM software. There is another software PowerISO and MagicISO are there to convert ISO file into DMG filee. Nero is capable of burning regular CDs and DVDs in addition to working with disc image files. Open Nero Burning ROM on your computer and click "File" and then "Open" to open your ISO file. Then, click "File" and then "Save As" to bring up the "Save As" dialog box. Change the "Output File Type" property to "DMG Disc Image" and then click "Save" once more. Your .ISO file will be converted to the DMG file format.
