Best 27 inch monitor for gaming

Hi i am looking out for an best 27 inch monitor that will help me to give better effects while playing games. So can anybody suggest me any standard 27" or larger up to 30"LCD monitor which i can use for gaming. Also i want excellent pixels while watching movie. Initially i was using the viewsonic monitor, earlier days it was doing fine but later on it started giving me problem such as:

• The backlight problem while viewing dark scenes of movies and games
• The view angles were not that much good.
• It only had a single HDMI,
• It was not having an DVI
• The contrast ratio was also poor
