I know it is new, but I've previously found an error. For starting, when I was typing something it did not immediately change my search results, although it has a link that says "Instant search on". Next, around 10-15 second into typing, my page went vacant, and some way I was redirected to www.google.com/blank.html.
Google Instant gives hunter all the benefits of auto complete in search results, this feature shows you results as soon as you start typing in google search. Google instant works only from Google homepage or a search results page. That’s from www.google.com main page. Google instant will not work if you search from iGoogle page rather than Google homepage. So try searching from www.google.com.
Be careful that you have not previously disabled Google auto complete or disabled Google Instant. Google Instant will work only with the following browsers.
- Google Chrome 5 and later versions
- Firefox 3 and later versions
- Safari 5 for Mac and later versions
- IE 8
One of the observable reasons why Google Instant is not working is choice of the browser. If nothing is working then there might be a problem of cookies or browsing history. Google guide suggest that browsing history and cookies should be cleared and this may help in making Google Instant work in the browser.
