I have bought a new Acer laptop and i found that there is no WWAN module with this laptop so i am not so happy with it. I would like to install the same on this laptop but then again i see that there is no extra pci-express slot. If i would solder the pci-express and simcard holder in place then will it be working properly?
There is no problem for soldering both the pci-express and simcard on the same but you should not forget that it would be depending on your BIOS as it may support it but it might not as well. Still you may try to solve your problem in that way. Make sure that you don't get messy with the whole motherboard circuit.
But if the underhood roar becomes hoarse meow, Acer blithely pick in the catalog of accessories to spoil this PC. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (a / b / g / n), three USB ports, a memory card reader, a VGA connector and a port called XGP for connecting a station extension (like the Fujitsu Graphic Booster -Siemens Amilo ). However, no HDMI connector but now this has become almost standard, especially with some of the graphic knowledge to decode HD without any trouble.
